“What started as an experiment with the effects of re-recording source material at different sampling rates, ended up becoming something way more layered, complex and meaningful: three parts fading into one another, three points of perspective merging, three moments in time to form one overall impression, hence the subtitle “triptych”. I kept all the imperfections such as clicks because they play their part in the sonic color palette I used. No presets, lots of processing. Use of analogue and digital instruments, loops and field recordings. My goal was, and is in general, to find an overall balance that provokes for the listener a certain perceptive flow. A piece of over 20 minutes long can be challenging. Have a listen only if you dispose of some downtime…thanks.”
