Ehsan Saboohi – Politics-Aesthetics No. VI: Eight Short Stories Vol. 3

Ehsan Saboohi’s latest release is a continuation of his Politics-Aesthetics series.  From his Bandcamp site:

“Ehsan Saboohi, composer and theorist of Post-Orientalism music, presents the sixth installment in his Politics-Aesthetics series: Eight Short Stories. In this project, Saboohi engages with literature in its broadest sense—encompassing theatrical texts and short prose—as both author and composer. Each piece operates as a compact dramatic form, its narrative architecture translated into sound through timbre, texture, and structural contrast.

The Politics-Aesthetics series is grounded in a philosophical discourse informed by the theoretical framework of Jacques Rancière, particularly his concepts of the distribution of the sensible and the politics of perception. Rather than illustrating theory, these works enact it, creating spaces where sonic form becomes a mode of thought.”
