This is one of those rare records where I advise my less advanced listeners (Georgian students, I’m talking to you) to prepare for something different. This barely qualifies as music. The works presented herein should be treated as sonic art, experiments, rumblings, anything but a structured song. The fact that such treasures were being made in San Diego, a city I love and which isn’t far from my home in the Greater Los Angeles area, blows my mind. David Dunn and Alexina Louie were the only artists I knew before this compilation, so I send deep respect and thanks to Nyahh Records for publishing this freaky little gem.
