This appears to be the first Audion Magazine release of 2026, as far as I can tell. For those unfamiliar with this incredible magazine, it was essential reading for me during my teenage years as I sought to learn about progressive rock and its subgenres, particularly avant-prog and Rock In Opposition.
This issue’s cover star is Joachim Heinz Ehrig, also known as Eroc. He was the drummer for the legendary Krautrock band Grobschnitt and released several excellent solo albums during the 1970s and 1980s. It seems he is still creating great music today. The audio portion of this release features Grobschnitt, Eroc, Nurse With Wound, and other renowned artists.
