Respect to Saba for introducing me to the work of Ayden George, a Canadian game and film music composer. Though I know soundtrack music pretty well, having been trained by a brilliant man during my time at Aron’s Records in Los Angeles, I have absolutely no knowledge of the gaming scene, except when composers I know delve into the genre. This is an introduction by way of Ayden’s Spotify account:
“Ayden George is an Ontario based musician.
He was introduced to music production in 2017, by his best friend, Eric Hynes. In 2019, Ayden started his own music production on GarageBand iOS, a free software on an iPad. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ayden used his time stuck at home to refine his sound, and work on projects such as The Fire Rises, The New Order: The Last Days of Europe and countless others. As of 2026, Ayden has amassed a decent following on YouTube, with over 45,000 Subscribers and tens of millions of views. He is working on composing for multiple projects, from films to video games.”
As I understand it, this work is a remix of Deutschland by the German band Rammstein. Quite nice.
