ZAMEEN-A is a violinist and composer based in Canada whose work I stumbled across on Instagram, and a bit of good luck. From her Bandcamp site:
“Cry [No More] is the debut album of violin/artist ZAMEEN-A; an experimental, concept-driven project that juxtaposes the deconstructed melodies of Persian violin with the progressive textures of noise, ambient, and industrial production. This is not violin music, rather, the instrument is merely a poetic tool for the artist to explore the deeply emotional state of what she terms “ecstatic suffering.””
