“There’s no place like “Дома“, the new EP by Todor Karakolev, a three-song collection invoking both nightmarish and dream-like visions.
It begins with “103”, referencing a special “home” to many for a long time. The accompanying video suggests this track may be an attempt to breathe life back into the dormant studio.
Although much is expressed simply with the music, songs two and three have lyrics as well, sung in mantra-like fashion, like spiritual incantations, with the title track referencing the desire to escape a crowd for the refuge of home.”
