I don’t know how it is possible that I missed this release, but today I would like to introduce you to Freddie Hubbard’s dark masterpiece, The Black Angel. The album will appeal to those who like Miles Davis’ seminal work, Bitches Brew. High praise, for sure, but listen and hear why it’s a crossover masterpiece.
