Perhaps it is because of a slightly somber mood, but I have been feeling the ghost of Florian Fricke in several of the releases I’ve had a chance to go through this week. Tomosla is a duo who work out of Devon, England, and have somehow managed to meld ambient drone and give it a more Kosmische feel. Not quite ambient Popol Vuh, but an elegant listen just the same.
