Many years ago, I heard that members of my two favorite bands, New Order and Killing Joke, collaborated on a project in 1993. By pure chance, I came across the song, and it’s pretty much what I would have expected from a 1993 collaboration. It reminds me of New Order’s Peel Sessions recordings fronted by Jaz Coleman rather than Bernard Sumner. Not overwhelming, but rather amazing in its own way.
