Jeff Gburek & the Łazy Ozone Clan – Baltic Ozones

If you close your eyes and let the music of Jeff Gburek & the Łazy Ozone Clan sink deeply into your mind, you might feel like you are wading in the sea and letting the rhythm of the waves cover you.  Track #3 was the one that won me over on this album, sounding like something that could have been composed for a TV documentary on astronomy or a Tarkovsky film set in the future.  It had my full attention throughout.

From Jeff Gburek’s Bandcamp site:

“Seaside sounds recorded near the town of Łazy with binaural ambient microphones and hyrdrophones form the backdrop for 3 overlay compositions. One employs Shortwave radio captures from the coastal region and two others enlace with the synthesizer. Track four is raw phonography session that begins with the hydrophones and then gradually introduces the ambient array and then gently fades aways.”
